It will be very difficult to replace him as unless his bad characteristics it will remain the first one !

Lots of Alts have many more advantages but it will take many times for them to overpassed him

Popularity-wise, it's hard to replace BTC. People associate cryptocurrency with BTC.

remember bitcoin will be halving next year. each coin would cost at least 2x of what it is today. i don't think it will be replaced this early.

It's safe to say that BTC will never ever be replaced by other cryptocurrencies out there, even new cryptos with greatest potential ever. BTC will never ever be gone and it will become a legend throughout the history.
