Better to mine new coins that old coins with high popularity now. Old coins difficulty is very high and it is hard to give you good profit from old coins.

Re: Is Mining Still Profitable?
For some person with high specs mining rig, yes, but for those people that cant afford to buy rigs then no. It all depends how harrwork the miner before they earn.

Re: Is Mining Still Profitable?
Mining is still profitable for few miners that are wiser in choosing what coins to mine. But if newbie will start to create their mining rigs I dont know if they can get their roi in a very short time.

If I had the equipment, I would mine bitcoin or other coins even with a minimum profit

Re: Is Mining Still Profitable?
Me too, when I was new in crypto world, I really want to do mining and want to mine a lot of new coins before, but when I search the minimum price to complete a mining rig then I backed out, guess it is really not for me.drakula_7_7_ wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 2:15 pmIf I had the equipment, I would mine bitcoin or other coins even with a minimum profit
Re: Is Mining Still Profitable?
for me, mining in fast mine or low difficulty is the best strategy to get so go for low type of coin, but if u looking for high quality coins u really need to have high class of gpu hardware to earn high quality coins

if you want to mine BTC, then i would say no. If you want to mine, do new coins. or newer coins. That will be better. And hope that there value increase on the exchange.;

Re: Is Mining Still Profitable?
8th November bitmain will release new ASICs for BTC with 7nm chips.
If you can buy it from Bitman with official price, i think you should try do it.
If bitcoin price will grow, these acics profitability will grow also

Re: Is Mining Still Profitable?
If already have the rigs and other resources needed to mine then mining is still profitable but if we will strat from scratch then I think this is not profitable or will take long for the roi to get.

Re: Is Mining Still Profitable?
Mining profitability depends from electricity cost.
If you have low cost or free electricity its allways will be profitable.
